B.I.G. = Believe in God! We hope that through our Wednesday night programs, you can continue to grow in wisdom and knowledge of Him!
The spring session of our B.I.G. Wednesday Bible study and supper program begins on Wednesday, January 8th. We will be offering 2 studies for you to choose from during this 8 week session.
1. His Mission: Jesus in the Gospel of Luke – In this study, 8 different Bible teachers explore the Gospel of Luke and its unique portrait of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Everything from the nature of Jesus’s divine sonship, to his rejection by religious and political rulers will be topics for our discussions. Scott Smith will lead this study and the cost for the book is $12.
2. The Meaning of Marriage by Timothy and Kathy Keller – In this study, the Kellers discuss practical wisdom for marriage that is for anyone from singles, to couples considering marriage, to newly married, and to those who have been married for a long time. The Meaning of Marriage draws a profound portrait of marriage that neither idealizes nor rejects the institution, but points us to the relationship between God and man. Mike and Shelby Gardner will lead this study and the book is $8.00.
Bible study will be held each week from 6:30-7:30pm immediately following supper. Supper is held in the Fellowship Hall from 5:45-6:25pm. Cost for the meal is $6.00 for adults, $3 for children ages 2-10, and free for children under 2. There is a family max of $20.00. Please use the sign up sheet located in your bulletin to register for the class and to make your weekly supper reservations or contact Lynn Boan for more info.
